I quaderni del m.æ.s – Journal of Mediæ Ætatis Sodalicium is an Italian annual journal that aims to be an instrument for discussion, in-depth study, and dissemination of knowledge on the mediaeval period (5th-15th centuries). The publication, which began in 1998 under the leadership of Réginald Grégoire, aims to study the Middle Ages through dialogue between different disciplines and thus welcomes a range of proposals that interweave different methodologies and fields of knowledge, from history to archaeology, from philology to art history.
All texts published by the Quaderni del m.ae.s. are screened, in double blind peer review mode, by at least two specialists chosen by the editorial and scientific committees. The evaluations of the anonymous reviewers are stored in the restricted area of our website.
The National Agency for the Evaluation of the University System and Research (ANVUR) has placed the Quaderni del m.ae.s. among the scientific journals for Area “10 – Ancient, Philological-Literary and Historical-Artistic Sciences” and Area “11 – Historical, Philosophical, Pedagogical and Psychological Sciences”.
