Abstract

This paper is a study-census with a statistical-quantifying analysis of the manuscripts related to Langobardia Minor, in VI - X century A. D. The attributable manuscripts are bound both by the lack of documents that arrived until now and by those who, although survivors, remain unknown to studies. The analysis carried out show a greater conservation of manuscripts between the VIII - X century, attested on 54 units. This elements will must be integrated with material that’s not registered or inaccessible. For the attribution, the sinusoidal effect of history of a territory that shines with its own light and then, subsequently, enjoy a veil of forgetfulness of its previous importance. Among the witnesses we have examples of extremely rare quality and interest that are very useful in the study of customs, commercial exchanges, ecclesiastical liturgies that allow to extrapolate new data on fashions and literary interests in the Langobardia Minor.
